How to use your compact electric sharpener?No technical skill required. The device automatically guides the knife into the correct position - just pull.
- Very dull or damaged knife: start with stage 1 (coarse grit) to reshape the edge, then finish with stage 2 (fine grit) for polishing.
- Regular maintenance: stage 2 only (fine grit). 3 to 5 passes are enough to restore a razor-sharp edge.
- Quick refresh before use: 2 to 3 passes in stage 2. Immediate results.
Turn on the device. Place it on a stable surface — its non-slip base ensures good grip. Choose the slot according to the condition of your blade.
Insert the base of the knife into the corresponding opening. Gently place the blade on the diamond grinding wheel. The built-in guides automatically maintain the angle.
Slide the knife towards you in a slow, continuous motion, from heel to tip. Always in one direction — never back and forth. The weight of the knife is enough, no need to force it.
Repeat 3 to 5 times. Test on a sheet of paper or the skin of a tomato: the cut should be clean, fluid, effortless. Your knife is like new.
Successful sharpening requires no force. Let the natural weight of the knife and the rotation of the diamond wheels do the work. Too much pressure does not speed up the result — it unnecessarily wears the blade and reduces the lifespan of your knives. The less force you apply, the better you sharpen.
