If it does not, it means that it is not yet hot enough. When you have reached this stage, you just need to add a little fat and that's it!

Stainless steel is preferred by professionals for its exceptional durability and its ability to sear food at high temperatures (Maillard reaction). Unlike Teflon pans, stainless steel does not have a chemical coating that flakes off, making it a healthier and more environmentally friendly choice in the long run.
The trick is to perform the water droplet test : heat the pan empty, then drop a few drops of water into it. If they bead up and roll around like marbles, the temperature is ideal . Then lower the heat, add your fat, and then your food.
To restore shine to your pan without scratching it, use baking soda . Sprinkle it on the bottom of the pan, add a little water to form a paste, let it sit for 15 minutes, then gently rub. For limescale stains or bluish tints, a simple splash of white vinegar will do the trick.
Yes, one of the great advantages of 18/10 stainless steel is its dishwasher resistance . However, to maintain its mirror-like shine for as long as possible, hand washing with a non-abrasive sponge is recommended .
