Excellent blender! Exactly what I was looking for. The blender bowl itself is made of thick glass, which is a big plus. There's also a second, smaller bowl , like a glass. It's portable because it has a lid with a drinking spout (it's plastic) for added convenience. The separate glass has its own blades for making smoothies.
